Cotopaxi & Quilotoa Full Day Tour

This tour was fantastic! We were picked up at the hotel and our tour guide was knowledgeable, humorous, and spoke great English! We stopped at a few outlook points for photos, and one stop for snacks on our way to Cotopaxi National Park! It was a clear day, so we had a beautiful view of the Cotopaxi Volcano, as well as several other active and extinct volcanoes! The excursion to Quilotoa was amazing - we had 2 hours of free time at the volcano crater lake to enjoy some Ecuadorian dishes for lunch and a bit of the hike down to the lake. We didn't have enough time to make it all the way down - which worked out because we were winded coming up the portion we did do! The bus rides were comfortable and our tour guide gave lots of context and history for the region and culture as we were driving!

A guia foi incrível, fomos num grupo de 20 pessoas, o ônibus saiu no horário planejado. Foi um dia bem intenso porque fizemos Cotopaxi e a Laguna de Quilotoa, fui no natal, fazia uma semana que o Cotopaxi estava em erupção, a nuvem dificultou um pouco a visualização, mas no final fez um dia lindo. Super recomendo a agência, principalmente para quem, assim como eu, tem poucos dias de viagem, porque eles organizam tudo, te buscam no ponto de encontro, te deixam no ponto de encontro, é bem cômodo e deu pra otimizar bastante meu tempo (que infelizmente era pouco)

We had a fantastic tour & would absolutely recommend it!For anyone concerned about elevation or if it will be a hard day with hiking you don’t need to worry. Be aware, the clouds are constantly changing and moving, cloud coverage can impede your views, this is not the tours fault, it is still worth going for the experience even if views are not perfectly clear. Our day started with hotel pickup, Javier was ready for us, after getting other guests we headed to Cotopaxi National park. Along the way we stopped at a few view points as clouds were clear. We then arrived at the entrance of the National park w/ toilets (25 cents to use) & food, snacks & drinks available. Javier was great at always explaining things we were seeing & other Ecuadorian history. Then a short walk around lagauna Limpiopungo. Then to Quilotoa lake, the van basically takes you to the view point so hiking is not required but 2 hours were available if wanting to hike. 2 hour drive to Cotopaxi National park, 2 to Quilotoa & another 2-3 back to hotel pending traffic. Van is comfortable, our driver Luis was great & Javier is awesome at providing info & allowing stops etc as needed to make sure everyone is supported.

I had an amazing time visiting the incredible Cotopaxi and Quilotoa! What truly made the experience unforgettable was our amazing tour guide Irene! She was so sweet, attentive and knowledgeable, she made the experience truly more memorable. If you are lucky to have her as a guide, she will instill a love for these beautiful destinations and Ecuador.

Excelente tour, Daniel el guía es súper amable, dedicado y explica todo súper bien, pudimos aprender mucho sobre la historia de Ecuador y los volcanes. Wilmer el conductor también es súper bueno, cien por ciento recomendables!! Se sentirán a gusto y seguros con ellos. Además Dany siempre nos apoyo con las mejores vistas y nos apoyo con las fotografías. Los lugares son increíbles, si vas a Ecuador sin duda alguna tienes que visitar el Cotopaxi y Quilotoa. Se llevan un 10 de excelencia por tan bonito e increíble tour.

We took the "Cotopaxi & Quilotoa" day trip and it was fantasic! Our guide, Daniel, was on time, funny, friendly, and informative. Not only was this our favorite tour during our entire Ecuador trip, but it was one of the best organized tours we've ever taken! Also, lunch was delicious!

Il tour è stato perfetto. Sono venuti a prenderci all hotel super puntuali. La nostra guida era Daniel, che è un ragazzo molto speciale. Ci ha sempre intrattenuti anche nelle lunghe ore in bus con tante informazioni e curiosità su quito e sull Ecuador. Abbiamo visitato la base del cotopaxi e la laguna di quilotoa. I luoghi sono magnifici. Ci ha portati a bere il mate de coca per combattere l altitudine. Ci ha offerto un gelato tipico ecuadoriano e ci ha regalato un portachiavi a forma di lama. È stato veramente dolcissimo e bravissimo, e sa davvero tantissime cose. Una delle migliori guide mai avute La giornata è stata perfetta sia grazie alla bellezza dei luoghi visti sia grazie a lui. Attività consigliatissima!!

Daniel was a super guide! In fact one of the nicest I‘ve ever met. He was super friendly and did a great job!Furthermore the Cotopaxi was great aswell as the Quilotoa Crater!

Estivemos, eu e minha família, nesse passeio no mês de julho de 2019. Foi um dia intenso para podermos ver as duas atrações em um mesmo dia. Foi muito surpreendente:1- as paisagens do caminho já valem o passeio.2- a guia CAROLINA, moça muito especial, bem informada e formada, nos dava informações relevantes e analíticas sobre as paisagens.3-tivemos a sorte de ver o topo do Cotopaxi ( isso depende das condições climáticas).4-a visão da Lagoa Quilotoa é deslumbrante.Nosso passeio durou, ao total, 13 horas. Mas valeu muito a pena, apesar de cansativo e muito frio nos locais. Não se iludam com o clima em Quito, levem muito agasalho.Ah...ia esquecendo, motorista calmo e cuidadoso.Sem reclamações!Aproveitem essas paisagens diversas que constituem essa região.
